On my day off last week I went down to potters 192 which is the Christmas Store and I was amazed at what I found. The displays were amazing and I may have even walked out of there with a few bags of goodies! A must see in my books!

Terracotta Man @ Potter’s 72!

Look up in the sky.. it’s a blurb.. it’s a plate… no it’s TERRACOTTA MAN!!! Come see the magnificent Terracotta Man at Potter’s 72nd and bask in his glory… well, maybe he’s not all that glorious or magnificent but Miss Jessie T loves him all the same. And the employees have taken a real shine to our very own Terracotta Man. I saw Dan W have lunch with him the other day, so it’s nice to see TM fitting in with the rest of the employees. Three jeers for Terracotta Man!

Starfrit at Potters

Come in and check out our Starfrit table at Ocean Park. We have peelers, pepper mills, food choppers, mini egg pans and griddles, measuring spoons and much more. The thing I have to have is the mini vacuum table cleaner. It is a mini mouse vacuum for the table to pick up all those crumbs after a messy eater! So cute!

Mad Mats are made from recylced plastic and are zero maintenance, when they get dirty just hose them off! We have 2 sizes 6×6 and 5×8. Look how we used one to spruce up a plant display!

“Hello!” to all new Potters customers and a “Howdy-do” to all our regular customers!

Our blog has been going for a few years now. We have Managers for all Potters locations coming up with interesting topics to share with our website and facebook readers. I wanted to take this opportunity to ask you if there is anything you want us to write about? Any gardening questions? Any little questions you just have to ask?

Also just wanted to point out that all the blogs topics are ‘time sensitive’. What I mean is that something we wrote about months ago is not nescesarily going to be in stock today. Please feel free to call us before you come down to see if what you want is in stock. Thanks!

Day at the Beach

Our little gnome has just sent me pictures of day he spent at one of our local beaches. As you can see it was a beautiful sunny day and the local wild life was out enjoying the surf as well.

Fun was being had by all….It was the perfect thing to do on such a perfect day.

Even our own Betsy McRib had stopped by to grab a cool one from the cooler. Apparently she was so thirsty she knocked over Mr.Gnome on her way to the ice box. She was later quoted as saying ” Root beer is good!!”, not quite the apology the gnome was hoping for.

PS. All the ornaments , plants, outdoor lanterns and even the umbrella can be found for sale at any one of our Potters locations.

These little guys live in the trees behind our nursery and love to come visit us all day! They hop from basket to basket looking for little treats and occasionally have a bath in one of our fountains. The last few week we have also had a humming bird in here. Nice to see a little bit of nature in our flowery place!
