Potter Cancer Fundraiser Gala Was A Success!

Potters had our 3rd annual “Give someone hope” breast cancer fundraising gala on Oct 14th. What a great success! Our guests had a great time eating the gourmet appies and listening to Nearly Neil. They also enjoyed our fully decorated Christmas store. Our volunteers had a great time serving our joyous guests and we raised lots of money for breast cancer research!

Breast Cancer Gala Last Night Was A Huge Success!

Potters 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Fundraising Gala was a great success last night! Nearly Neil sang for us and rocked the house! We had 4 wineries here keeping the spirits up and lots of great apertifs from our caterers. There was a baby grand piano being played and 2 harpists at the front door as you entered. People bid on silent acution items and heard a few words from our organizers, representatives from the Breast Cancer Society and our Minister of Health, Kevin Falcon. You had to be here to witness the 4 giant clam ice sculpures over flowing with yummy prawns being wheeled around the crowd and the fruit carver man who was making watermelons into roses. People drank, danced and shopped and had a great time. Make sure you get a ticket next year! I’ll post lots of picture soon.

The Breast Cancer Fundraising Gala was a huge success! Nearly Neil rocked the house! We auctioned off ALL the silent auction items and everyone was wowed by the giant Potters cake. We had thank you’s emailed to us for days afterwards with customers so thrilled by the whole thing, telling us that they are coming next year for sure. The Buzz in the store was amazing that night and the catered food was phenomenal! Thanks again to everyone that volunteered and attended the event.
