Profile: Scott has a wealth of experience in pond design and landscaping in general. He came to us in 2005 and we jumped at the chance to finally have someone on staff who knew something about plants. Scott is a Certified Horticultural Technician, having attended the BC School of Horticulture (and because of his high marks we assume he was awake during at least half of his classes.) I recall his first day with us when he astounded us all by explaining what the 3 numbers on a bag of fertilizer meant. Up til then we all thought it was a secret Scientology code. Convinced we had a winner, we made him assistant manager of the 152nd Store almost immediately. Last year he became the Manager of the 152nd St. location. Oh…..and Scott has very neat printing.

    Wall Fountains

    Thursday, May 10th, 2012

Wall fountains can be used  to create a focal point in an outdoor setting. They can be combined with other features, plant material or stand alone. Left running or even turned off they always make a statement.

    Ulmus parvifolia ‘Hokkaido’

    Thursday, April 19th, 2012

Ulmus parvifolia ‘ Hokkaido is a neat little miniture elm that I just  picked up for a miniture Sun planter. It is can be trained as a bonsai or used in a container.  I would avoid placing it in the garden  due to the fact that it might get lost and lose its charm. It’s leaves are [...]

This year I  found a ton of new stuff  and I’d like to mention a few standouts. Stranvaesia [...]

Potters 152 is set up and waiting for some warmer weather so we can get our tropical plants in! Cyclamen hederifolium ‘Album’

    Sunday, October 9th, 2011

I love this little perennial. I’ve never had any problem with them and when things are starting to look rough in the garden , it seems to pop up just in time. I have it under the canopy of a Acer japonicum sp. and in between a pair of mouse ears hosta.
