Switch-A-Roo
by Chris ~ March 11th, 2010. Filed under: Garden Centre Random Thoughts.All the Potter’s stores have had some employee switch-a-roos and you’ll find if you visit some of the stores you might see some new faces or employees with new titles.
At the 152nd Store, Scott has moved up from Assistant Manager to Store Manager. New faces at 152 include Toni and Chelsea from the 72nd store.
At the 192nd Store, Holly has moved from Assistant Manager to Greengoods Manager. Gale is now Merchandise Manager – Giftware for all stores, in addition to being Store Manager at 192nd.
At the 72nd Store Chris has moved from Store Manager of 152nd to Store Manager of 72nd. In addition to managing our 72nd Street location, Chris is also our Essentials Manager. This is a new position which entails co-coordinating all hardgoods purchases for the 4 stores.
At our new store in Ocean Park, Cam has moved from Store Manager of 72nd to Store Manager of 128th. (Cam is also our General Manager.) Wendy has moved from Head Cashier of 152nd to Second Assistant Manager of 128th. Truman from 72nd has also gone over to help out at 128th.
Confused by all these switches? Don’t be! We’re still a bunch of fun and friendly Potter’s employees here to help you with whatever gardening needs you have!

Hello to everyone at all the Potters! I’m Tiffany G,please come by and say hi at OP,I’d like to meet you all!
As a new addition to the 128th store in Ocean Park,I’d like to say that in all my 7 years in this business this store feels by far like home.Everyone is open and happy and we are having a great time setting up and losing ourselves in cardboard!The giftware looks amazing! The whole store looks amazing!It’s just GO GO GO! I look forward to coming to work and working with Cam,Wendy ,Truman and my new co worker Kelly. Can’t wait for the customers to pour in! I’d just like to say thanks Cam and Wendy for bringing me into the “Potters Family”!
