    Leaves Are Falling

    Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Everywhere I look in the neighbourhood leaves are turning bright colours and falling. Of course that usually means you have to rake up all those coloured leaves but they’re still lovely to look at… I guess that’s easy for me to say when I don’t have to haul that fetted foliage away!!

… “I get my house today!!” Apparently Jessica of the 152nd Street store has entered the Peace Arch Hospital draw and is convinced she will win a giant prize home… of course Bobby Scott of the 152nd store claims the same thing… maybe they can share a home and live in harmony together… c’mon Jess [...]

Hockey season has started and the Canuckleheads are off to a bit of a rough start. Of course it’s a long season but that doesn’t stop the psycho Vancouver media from jumping all over them with every loss. Either way, it’s nice to see the “Boys n Pucks” back on ice and I look forward [...]

    Blech

    Saturday, October 25th, 2008

Its raining… it’s cold… why do some people like the rain so much? I guess rain is the defining feature of Vancouver but I’m still a “sun guy”… hands up, who’s with me?

Year-End Gaze Into The Square Abyss…

    Friday, October 24th, 2008

Hey there muddy buddy, why do you look so blue? Long ago you were yellow and now you’ve a different hue. And over there lays a pair of hukes with their lustre spent. Once lime, now it’s time the northern chill’s bronze has lent. Crisped n curled, pikes n pearls, wispy to the end. A [...]

    When Fall Goes To Winter…

    Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

… that’s when I sigh.. for a part of me dies as the outside turns grim, inside it’s not me but him… downward he slides… exposing that which I wish to hide… slides until the crocus signals a divide… and that’s when he lays to sleep and I take my first steps out of the deep… and [...]
