Spring is a great time of year to spruce up your soil… your plants will be so much happier if you do! At all the Potter’s stores we carry a good list of soil amendments, which should not be confused with actual soil. Soil is the material you’ll plant your plants into, soil amendments improve the quality of your soil… whether it be altering the pH, improving the levels of organic matter, or simply bettering it’s nutrient-holding capabilities. Some of the soil amenders that we carry include steer/ mushroom/ chicken manure, peat moss (great for holding more moisture) and Nature’s Gold soil amender. All of these products improve your existing soil and you should see noticeable differences in the growth of your plants.
